The background is watercolour paper which has been decorated with a handmade stamps and acrylic paints and dyes. One bird is made of faux velvet and a recycled brown and red leather purse wtha bead and sequin eye. Another is made from suede leather [some dyed] and faux leather. And the third is made from inkjet prints on paper and lutradur, also gold metal and a metal button eye.

Screen printed background fabric. The labrynth, tree, bird etc are painted fabric. The lamp, lace and letter are inkjet printed evolon. All appliqued onto background. Other details such as a lion, lillies, leopard etc were 'drawn' on with the sewing machine, freehand. Wrapped around a canvas frame.

A vintage tablecloth was used for the background, some of it has been painted. Items were painted and outlined with watercolour pencil. Individual cakes etc were painted and embellished with hand embroidery. Applied to the background cloth. Wadding and backing fabric attached and quilted, stitching around the items. The 'wallpaper' on the background was hand quilted.Wrapped around a frame.

This is a set of four elephants.
Elephant 1 is a grey painted elephant embroidered with black thread. The background is hand painted and stamped with acrylic paints using hand made stamps. Wrapped around a canvas frame.

Elephant 3 is a grey elephant on a blue/green backgound. This one is painted on canvas and has an etched pattern with hand drawn stitches around the elephant.
Elephant 4 is a blue/grey elephant on a grey etched painted background. The elephant is painted/stamped organza fabric with hand stitched outline around the elephant.

This was inspired by a sketchbook doodle which I translated onto fabric. For the background I painted with transfer paints on paper and then heat transferred the design onto fabric. The outlines were stitched. Shapes such as the fish, flower, t-pot etc were hand painted and stitched to the background. The fabric was finally applied to a painted canvas.

Winter Wonderland has a window effect with the picture set at the back of the deep frame.
The window frame is made from painted heavyweight vilene, with plastic for glass and hand stitching together. A good quality evenweave fabric was used for the snowscene which has been hand painted and hand stitched.

Made to order. It will have similar colours and a variety of different papers will be used. Some are altered pages from books, music etc and some are totally hand produced. All the houses, trees etc are freehand machine embroidered and then applied to a painted canvas background. As the pictures are done individually, not to a pattern, they will have variations and be unique.
